With Michael Berkeley, composer and eldest son of Lennox Berkeley, and Tony Scotland, author of the new biography 'Lennox and Freda' to be published in Autumn 2009.

Former Academy Professor Sir Lennox Berkeley was a seminal figure in twentieth-century composition. This afternoon of events, in association with the Lennox Berkeley Society and with the kind cooperation of the patron of the concert, Mr. Noriyuki Ida, celebrates some of the composer's rich repertoire alongside the timeless chamber music and songs of his French contemporaries.
